Welcome to Dar Al Haram Travels. These Terms & Conditions outline your rights, responsibilities, and the conditions under which our travel services are provided. By making a booking or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Booking & Contract Agreement

A booking is confirmed once full or agreed payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued by Dar Al Haram Travels. All bookings are subject to availability and are arranged through third-party suppliers, including airlines, hotels, transport providers, visa authorities, and other service providers. Your contract for each travel service is directly with the relevant supplier. Dar Al Haram Travels acts solely as an intermediary. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, especially for Umrah and Hajj packages, to protect against unforeseen circumstances such as delays, cancellations, or disruptions beyond our control.


2. Ticket & Booking Detail Verification

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify all booking details immediately upon receipt. This includes:

  • Passenger names (must exactly match passport details)
  • Flight dates and times
  • Travel segments
  • Hotel and package details

Any discrepancies must be reported on the same day. Failure to do so may result in amendment fees imposed by the supplier. Please note that missing a flight or part of a journey may cause airlines to cancel remaining segments automatically, in line with airline policies.


3. Flight & Travel Conditions

All flight segments must be used in the sequence stated on your itinerary. Airlines reserve the right to change schedules, aircraft, or seat allocations at any time. While we provide reasonable assistance, Dar Al Haram Travels cannot guarantee flight changes or seat preferences. Flights described as “direct” may include technical stopovers without changing aircraft. Car rentals, non-refundable bookings, and peak-season services are strictly subject to supplier terms and may not be amended or refunded.


4. Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations and refunds are governed by the supplier’s policies. Deposits, issued tickets, visa fees, and certain services are non-refundable once confirmed. Visa fees are non-refundable under all circumstances, including visa refusal. In the event of a visa denial, refunds for flights or accommodation (if applicable) will depend on supplier policies. Dar Al Haram Travels can only refund amounts successfully recovered from suppliers.


5. Payment Terms

Payments must be made according to the schedule stated in your booking confirmation. We accept major debit and credit cards and may carry out verification checks to prevent fraud. Failure to complete payment may result in booking cancellation, fare changes, or loss of services. Tickets and vouchers will not be issued until full payment has been received.


6. Passports & Visas

All passengers must hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond the travel date. Visa issuance is at the sole discretion of the relevant embassy or authority, and Dar Al Haram Travels cannot guarantee approval. Any additional visa charges or requirements are the customer’s responsibility. Travelers must comply with entry regulations of destination countries, including special passport or documentation requirements.


7. Customer Conduct

Customers must behave responsibly and lawfully during travel. Any misconduct, including abusive, disruptive, or illegal behaviour, may result in denied services or termination of travel arrangements without refund. Customers are personally liable for any damage, penalties, fines, or losses caused by their actions.


8. Force Majeure

Dar Al Haram Travels shall not be liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Extreme weather
  • Strikes
  • Political unrest
  • Terrorism
  • Government actions

We will provide reasonable assistance where possible; however, any additional costs incurred remain the customer’s responsibility.


9. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, delays, baggage loss, and personal liability. This is particularly important for Umrah, Hajj, and peak travel periods.


10. Financial Protection (ATOL & Supplier Refunds)

Dar Al Haram Travels is ATOL protected for applicable flight and flight-inclusive bookings. ATOL protection generally applies to payments made within the UK. Refunds are limited to what is recoverable from suppliers or under the ATOL scheme. Non-ATOL services are governed strictly by supplier terms.


11. Special Requests & Loyalty Programs

Any special requests (e.g., meals, accessibility, seating, child services, room preferences) will be forwarded to suppliers but cannot be guaranteed. Loyalty program benefits or reward points are subject to supplier rules. Dar Al Haram Travels is not responsible for missed or denied rewards.


12. Delivery of Tickets & Documents

All tickets, vouchers, and confirmations are issued via email only. Customers must review documents immediately and report errors the same day. Paper ticket delivery outside the UK may be limited or unavailable.


13. Queries & Complaints

All queries or complaints should be emailed to Info@daralharamtravels.co.uk. Any issues during travel must first be reported to the supplier. Formal complaints must be submitted within 30 days of return, including booking references and supporting details. Resolutions are subject to supplier policies, and we assist where reasonably possible.


14. Website Use & Privacy

Our website is intended for lawful use only. All content, branding, and materials are protected by copyright. Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and shared only with suppliers as necessary to fulfill bookings. Website information is provided as guidance only and should be confirmed before booking.


15. General Acceptance

By booking with Dar Al Haram Travels, you confirm that you:

  • Accept these Terms & Conditions in full
  • Understand that supplier rules apply to services
  • Agree to provide accurate personal information
  • Commit to respectful and lawful conduct during travel
